Michelle Mukonyora is a Biotechnologist currently pursuing her PhD, and working at an agricultural research institute. She has BSc and BSc (Hons) degrees in Biotechnology, as well as an MSc specialising in Bioinformatics. She is currently working on a computational biology and vaccine development project, with a specific focus on animal health. Michelle is also passionate about science communication and promoting science literacy amongst young Africans. She is hoping to achieve this through her life science news site, Nyenyedzi Bio.
